Clare Frain Brekka has over 30 years of experience handling real estate matters including residential and commercial transactions, mortgage loan closings, real estate disputes, and Landlord/Tenant issues. She has also handled and successfully settled numerous personal injury claims related to motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, and dog bite cases. Her practice also includes advising clients regarding Wills, Trusts, Durable Powers Of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, Life Estates, Medicaid issues related to Long Term Care Facilities, as well as other Elder Law related matters.

William N. Brekka, Esq.
Bill Brekka joined the firm in August 2016. During law school, he interned for Justice Mitchell J. Sikora of the Massachusetts Appeals Court as well as the Public Defender Division of the Committee for Public Counsel Services. After law school Bill handled Social Security Disability cases for nearly two years. He has worked on several hundred disability cases and conducted over fifty hearings before Administrative Law Judges.

Kathleen Fisher (Brekka) joined the firm in January 2024. After graduating from law school in 2016, Kathleen practiced at Sankey Law Offices for seven years in the areas of special education law, guardianships, special needs trusts, and employment discrimination. At Brekka & Brekka, Kathleen continues to represent families through the adult guardianship process and families of students with special education needs before the Bureau of Special Education Appeals. She also advises clients regarding special needs trusts and guardianship alternatives, such as Durable Powers of Attorney and Health Care Proxies.
